Sitting opposite Her, She becomes a mirror reflecting back to me that which I need to understand fully in this moment.
This is not simply an intellectual experience, nor something entirely physical.
Subtle shifts are taking place, weaving in, out, around us both, becoming what some might describe as a ‘download’, a 360°, multisensory, multidimensional moment.
I slowly become aware that I am looking at my younger self. My face recognizable has replaced Her own and with my eyes open and clear I stare at that beautiful young woman who does not know her own depth, strength or divinity.
My Soul speaks in thought, loud, strong and unbidden ‘You are beautiful. I love you!’
Then there comes a full understanding of all of the times I mistreated myself in thought and word and deed, like a purifying wave it crashes over me, allowing me to finally let go of the mistaken ‘I am not enough’ that has been so deeply rooted, so embedded for a lifetime.
Are the words coming from Her mind? My mind? Universal mind?
In this moment, and every moment, it is all One.
Change takes place again, as if demonstrating the transcience of this life and Her face is now covered with large, tender brown eyes, all looking directly at me, all crying tears of compassion and mercy, and I feel that Her greatest wish is that I should Love myself as She loves me.
And perhaps that is Great Mother’s wish for us all. That just for a moment, we could feel Her unconditional love and know that nothing that we could ever do, say, or be could ever change that immense love.
This is love like no other.
And as the tears trickle slowly from each of Her many eyes, I hear over and over
‘I love you’.
