This Present Moment is Eternal…
There is no yesterday.
There is no tomorrow.
There is only NOW.
The concept of ‘Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow’ comes from our embodiment into physicality and the Maya (illusion*) of linear time.
In duality there exists the necessity for ‘time’ to be expressed as linear; dawn, day, night, birth, life, death, past, present, future… but in actuality this moment is the only that exists, in timeless perpetuity.
As awareness expressing itself through the physical body, we become very attached to ONLY being this temporary form. We lose the connection or remembrance of our non-physical, eternal, timeless Self.
♡ But gentle recognition of the eternality of the Present enables us to live without fear of tomorrow and regret of yesterday. To live, fully present in this timeless, eternal, everlasting NOW, is your Eternal Life.
You see, you do not need to die to become what you have been all along.
Rest in the present.
Detach from thoughts of ‘past’ and of ‘future’ and understand that whilst your relative reality of this physical world may pass away, the YOU that has always been will remain.
What have you to fear when your core Self is indestructible?
What do you need for tomorrow when existence is ever-present?
What matters but love and peace for all eternity?
Refocus on the eternal qualities of You and you will be as a leaf perfectly balanced and floating on the river of life. Whatever comes is acknowledged and accepted as part of the journey, but always within the context that ‘This too shall pass.’
Enjoy your eternal nature.
(* ‘Maya’ or the ‘Creator of Illusion’ is primarily a Vedic concept, but also exists as ‘Mara’ in Buddhism and ‘Satan’ in Christianity. These personifications represent the temporary nature of the material world as illusory – NOT that it doesn’t exist, but that it is only transient and temporary. The personification of Maya/Mara/Satan etc as the illusion itself, helps us to see through this veil to the reality of the Eternal.)
