Gone Before Their Time.

There is nothing more devastating than losing a child.

I have written at length on previous occasions about the continuation of life in the Spirit Realm for every child who passes from this earthly life.

Today I thought that I’d address a question which gnaws at many people when they hear of the loss of a young person or a child.

‘Why were they taken before their time?’

What follows may be difficult for some to digest, but I’ll do my best, using my first hand knowledge & experience of the subject to answer the question, as best as I can.

I’m a Medium.

I spend my life communicating with those who are, very impolitely known as ‘dead people’. Therefore, I’m fortunate to have access to information and truths that lie beyond the sight of those who are not psychically developed.

Nobody dies before their time.

This may be an unpopular truth, but it is truth nonetheless.

No matter how young (or indeed, how old) a person is, they pass at exactly the correct time for their soul. Of course, that’s not to say that their loved ones are ready to be separated from them or that they themselves know on a conscious level the age and time at which they will transition to the World of the Spirit, but their soul has already agreed to an earthly incarnation of a certain length of time and once that allotted time has come to a close, their Spirit will leave the Earth plane. There is absolutely NOTHING that can be done to change this.

But what about miracles?

I like to think of miracles as wonderful PR moments for Source and the Spirit Realm.

Humanity tends to view spontaneous remissions and sudden healing in very simplistic terms, as ‘miraculous’ (ie a benevolent God reaching down to the Earth and sparing one life, just because it can). What if I told you that actually, it was always in that person’s Soul Plan to recover from whatever ailed them? That on a soul level, they had either decided to undergo an illness and all the trials and inner turmoil that comes with that, in order to expand their consciousness and soul evolution or that they had karmic energies from other existences which needed to be balanced?

Either way, a ‘miraculous’ recovery can serve as an incredible catalyst for introspection, renewed spiritual awareness and a new determination to live a life of service to others. Not only is this true of the recovered individual, but may extend to others connected to them.

I highlight this in bold type because we so often think of ourselves as isolated individuals, living in our own little bubbles, rarely affected by anything or anyone outside of that bubble, when we are in fact, all connected.

Perhaps the real ‘miracle’ here is the awakening of souls to the truth of their own infinite spirit nature, not the recovery or spontaneous remission in isolation.

It’s also important at this juncture to point out that there is no such thing as a God who picks and chooses who is to live and who is to die. Life and death are far, far more complex than that. I believe that that is a human over-simplification, the only way we can get our limited physical brains around the concepts death and dying.

Life Paths & Soul Plans

Before we are born into the Earth plane, we exist in Spirit. It has always been our home and will continue to be so after our relatively short visitation to the physical realm.

Regardless of any belief in reincarnation, before we enter into this current incarnation upon the Earth, we decide upon the types of experiences we need to undergo to learn lessons that are simply not available for us to learn in our Spirit home. Our ‘choosing’ or agreeing to certain experiences is also tempered with those things that will help to rebalance universal karmic energy (eg If we were paralysed and cared for by another in a different life, perhaps we need to become the carer for another in this life, in order to ensure that all universal energy maintains it’s delicate balance or simply for us to have that experience.)

Death in the physical sense is not an experience that is available to us in our Spirit World home. There there is no aging, no disease, no deterioration or degeneration. Therefore, one of the most important experiences for our own soul Growth (and the soul Growth of others connected to us) is that of death.

Our soul knows the date and time of its birth and of its completion of the physical journey.

Therefore, nobody dies ‘before their time.’

What about young children?

Every soul decides upon the length of time they will remain on the Earth. This may be difficult to swallow, but we must try to understand that even the youngest babes who pass from this world were and are still ageless souls with much wisdom and guidance available to them when such decisions were made.

It may help us at these times of loss to remember the words of the great Spirit guide Silver Birch:

‘You rejoice when babies come into your world. There are many who cry in our world when babies are about to be born into your world. Similarly, there is weeping when people die in your world, but there is rejoicing in ours. Death means that the life has served it’s purpose, or should have done, and the individual is ready to enjoy all the tremendous richness and beauty that the Spirit life has to offer. ‘

Many people still believe that the transition of a young person or child back to their spirit home is tragic and of course it is understandably devastating for a family to experience. Although it will certainly feel that way to the child’s parents, siblings and loved ones, it may help to remember that nobody dies before their work here upon the Earth is completed.

Even the tiniest baby that passes from this world to the next, has concluded the work for which it came.

Really?’ you ask, ‘but how can that be?’

Because perhaps, it was agreed long ago with the soul of the one who would act as parent, that the loss of a baby would serve as a pivotal moment that would catapult that parent soul forwards to do great work and service, perhaps helping others in a similar position.

A little child who lived locally, recently passed to the Next World. The child had undergone more suffering in the few short years that they were on the earth than most people who live to be 100 would ever know. But the child’s life was an incredible one, because they managed to do what even the most ‘powerful’ rulers of the largest countries in the world can not do; that child united their community, which culminated in hundreds of people coming together in commonality, humanity, love and peace. That little child touched the hearts and minds of many hundreds and thousands who heard their story, a story that made tough grown men seek to draw their own children a little closer. For just a moment, that small child pierced the bubbles of all those adults who had for so long, lived under the illusion that we are all separate from each other, and showed them that our lives are actually beautifully and intricately woven together. That child was a gift to humanity.

You see, even the shortest life is not wasted.

Though life may at times, seem short and that those who are lost beyond our physical sight have gone ‘before their time’, they are really the pioneers.

They have chosen to go on before us and through doing so they not only remind us of the love that binds all of creation together, but that they are in fact, very advanced in their own soul evolution.
