Welcome back. Today we are going to take a look at animal and plant life in the Spirit Realms.
There are many differences between our interactions with our natural surroundings here, on this plane and how we are able to interact with our surroundings once we have transitioned.
There are colours that exist in the Next Life for which we have no comparison in this one. The visible light spectrum able to be perceived by our physical sight is a very limited portion of that which exists overall. It is estimated that human beings can only see 1% of all light and colour frequencies, so imagine what actually exists beyond our current physical perception.
This is pertinent in regards to the quality of light and spectrum of colours we experience in the Next World. I have communicated with Spirit People who are still in a state of wonder at the light that surrounds them. Our daylight comes from a single source, the Sun. As the earth rotates away from this light source over a 24 hour period, we experience the darkness of night.
In the Spirit Realms the source of light is not the same. It is radiated by the Eternal Source, the Great Central Sun, which is the etheric counterpart of our own Star. Much as the earth is a living, breathing entity in her own right, with an etheric or spirit duplicate, so is the sun. As above, so below.
When one enters the realm of the Spirit, one notices that the light has no single source, but is diffused throughout the sky. There is no darkness of night, only daylight gently turning to a dusk. In the higher realms, there is only ever daylight. As we have no need for sleep in the Next World (the body is not physical and therefore no longer requires it), we have no need for the dark. Though the twighlight exists for those who are still attached to periods of rest. As we ascend through the spheres, we are in fact moving closer to the Light of ALL things, which is echoed in the quality of atmosphere in each plane.
The air there shimmers and sparkles with colour and really is a sight to behold. I have been made aware of this many times on my journies into these dimensions during meditation, Mediumship and sleep. All colours there are so beautiful, bright, vibrant and ‘alive’, like nothing we have on the earth. In fact, at times when I have experienced those lands, returning to my usual waking consciousness the earth and my surroundings seem dull and grey, muted in comparison.
Plant life in the Spirit Realms is a wonder! There are flowers, plants and trees that are familiar, species that have never existed on the earth plane and some familiar flowers and trees which exceed any definition. Many grow to heights that would baffle us here. As there is no decay or death in the World of the Spirit, plants and flowers bloom eternal. I have read accounts of the tallest trees, bigger than anything known upon the earth and flowers that when gently touched, vibrate and release gentle music. Each flower and colour having its own tune.
There there is never a need to cut flowers and bring them indoors, as they flower constantly. Gardens burst with heavenly colour and fragrance and accounts exist of trees that bear the most amazing fruits, the juice of which may be drunk to provide sustenance to new arrivals in the Spirit lands.
Where there are homes and houses, fences and walls do not exist. There are no boundaries between ‘private’ and ‘public’ as everything there belongs to everyone. Space is shared with the understanding that all creatures and all beings are welcome.
The written accounts of animal life in the Spirit Worlds are wonderful. They range from meetings with tame big cats who behave like domestic house cats, purring and bunting with their large noses, no longer a threat to life or under threat, these creatures walk harmonious path and have a sincere feeling of belonging.
There is no longer a food chain where there are predators and prey, vying for position, ready to pounce. Everything changes once competition for resources no longer exists. Everyone and everything relaxes.
There are birds of every colour and kind, singing songs the like of which will enchant you. Flocks of birds of paradise and tiny sparrows all roosting within the same space. Vibrant and beautiful plumage coupled with an intelligence and ability that allows communication. As the language of the Next World is universal telepathy, we will become used to no longer using our mouths and voice boxes to form words. Communication is mind to mind and instantaneou, therefore whether ‘speaking’ to animals, birds, other people, it is all as thought, easy and natural. There are no language barriers.
We must not forget our beloved pets and the animals that we have cared for within this melting pot of wild life. It is true that the creatures that have been our family members, our beloved pets transition to the Next World and continue on. When we pass over we shall be reunited with them all. I have been lucky enough to connect many sitters with their beloved animals over the years, often a parent or grandparent in Spirit will want to let a sitter know that their cat or dog (and sometimes more exotic species!) are safe and well and with them. This may bring much comfort to those of us who love our animals.
Recently I connected a father (residing in the Spirit Realm) with his daughter. Towards the end of the sitting the father said, very clearly to me; ‘tell her I’ve got the tortoise here with me!’ and laughed. When I delivered this messaged, my sitter was astounded, not only was it true that her family had had a pet tortoise, but her father could never stand it! Needless to say, attitudes change, eventually.
I am sometimes aware of individuals in Spirit who live on what I can only describe as ‘Small Holdings’. There they will be the caretaker of several animals, a single cow, a few horses, perhaps a sheep or two, dogs and cats. Every animal that has shared a bond of love with a person is given a home on the Other Side of Life.
Water is an amazing substance and never more so than in the Spirit planes. It too may often have a musical sound associated with it, a soft tinkling of harmonious silver bells often accompany moving water. It sparkles and reflects many different colours and it’s vibrational frequency, along with that of the Spirit Body, means that one can place their hand into water and pull it out completely dry!
The landscape in of the heavens is largely majestic, rolling and beautiful (though obviously this differs from the lower and upper realms). It often reminds me of the green parkland of a stately home, perfectly maintained and manicured, a pleasant space in which to relax. In my experience there always seem to be hazy purplish-blue Mountain ranges in the far distance with snow capped peaks and I wonder if these are a more visual delineation between realms.
Of course, not all is Green and pleasant. There also exist cities and conurbations filled with wide avenues, great halls and classical looking temple structures. Places of learning and great knowledge. Life in the Next World is, after all, a continuation on our journey of soul growth and evolution.
