High Vibes
Hey there friends and welcome to this, the final day of our Gratitude Challenge.
My wish for you all is that you have found something within our daily exercises that has resonated with you, something that you feel able to weave into your daily life.
A regular gratitude practice shouldn’t feel forced or difficult. The easier it is, the more sustainable and fulfilling it will be in the long run. Appreciation for the good in your life has greater effects when it is practiced over and over.
I want you to give yourself a big pat on the back for committing to this week of our Challenge and for seeing it through. If there’s any part of it you feel you’d like to do again then carry on!
Remember that practice really does make perfect and that goes for gratitude too.
In order that you continue the momentum that you’ve generated in these last 7 days, let’s talk about Positive Energy & see if you can think of ways to build upon the great foundation that you’ve already created.
Everything is energy, all vibrating at different frequencies. The higher the frequency of our own energy, the more positive and pleasant our life experiences. The converse is also true. How many of us know people who always have something to complain about? Well, this isn’t just a coincidence.
If you have read or know about the Universal Spiritual Law of Like Attracts Like (aka ‘The Law of Attraction’) you’ll understand that when we activate positivity within ourselves we find more and more in our experience to feel positive about.
Raising our own personal vibration also effects the vibrational frequency of those around us.
Example: Imagine a room filled with tuning forks all tuned to different keys (a note or key is simply a resonant frequency of sound). If you enter that room with a tuning fork tuned to Middle C and continue to strike it, all of the other forks will tune themselves to resonate at the same Key.
Likewise, when you issue forth a positive, higher vibrational attitude, you help to tune everybody else’s frequency up a notch.
Finding positivity isn’t always easy, but it can be done and it helps to know that you will creating even more things to be happy about.
Raising your vibrational frequency can happen by simply listening to upbeat, happy music that you enjoy, taking a peaceful walk in nature, singing, laughing, practising breath work and practising gratitude and appreciation.
Exercise: Today is our last day together, so it’s time to have some fun! I’d like you to make a ‘Positive Playlist’ of all your favourite, upbeat tunes, create a list of 5 activities you can do to bring calm and upliftment into your week & finally I’d like you to draw a self portrait to hang somewhere visible. It doesn’t matter whether you think you can draw or not, use crayons, finger paints, make a collage out of magazine cuttings, whatever is fun and creative for you. Then write as many positive, loving and appreciative words you can think of around that picture. Now, go put it up somewhere where you’ll see it regularly over the next week or so.
Today’s Prompt:
‘Appreciation means…..’ (finish the sentence).
The secret to a sustainable gratitude practice is to make it your own and something that you’re likely to repeat without much effort. Once you’ve found an enjoyable way to show your appreciation regularly you’ll have locked in gratitude as a way of life and very soon you’ll have even more to feel grateful for!
I have loved every minute of these last 7 days with you and I hope that you have enjoyed our journey too.
Congratulations on completing the Soul Growth 7 Day Gratitude Challenge, you are AMAZING!
Enjoy a wonderful, blessed day.
xoxo
